COMMISSIONS


To commission a painting of your pet or have questions about commissioning a
painting, please call (if you have any questions) me at 503 407 9106 or email me,
dottie@wildwildthings.com.

1.  SEND PHOTOS:                                                                                                  
  • Size:  You'll need to send me, as many as you can, color, clear, in-focus photos
    of your pet.  If they're actual paper photos, they absolutely must be clear.  My
    mailing address is listed below.  If they're virtual photos (which is what I prefer),
    they must be clear as well and at least 100Kb in size.   
  • Composition:  Be sure that the photos you send include at least one shot that
    has the pose that you want your pet to be painted in.  It might not be the clearest
    photo of all that you send, but it must be roughly how you want your pet
    positioned.
  • Setting:  If you have a photo of a setting or background that you like, just let me
    know.  But I am also happy to work with you on a special setting or background
    idea that you might have.  It's something we can discuss.
  • Let me know your pet's name, her/his breed, personality, age, favorite things
    (toys, blanket, etc), and anything else about her/him that you think I should know
    as I paint.


2.  MAKE DEPOSIT: a 1/3 nonrefundable deposit is required before painting is started.

3.  OPTIONAL ADDITIONS: Each additional pet per painting requires a 1/3 additional
charge.  

4.  TURNAROUND TIME:  Paintings are done in the order deposits are received.

have completed a commissioned
painting, or any other painting on my
own, all rights to the painting are
mine alone, including the right to
reproduce and sell reproductions of
any painting I have ever made or will
ever make.  You will own the original,
of course, but again, all legal rights to
the image itself are the property of
me, the artist.  If you are not
comfortable with this arrangement,
please do not commission a painting
with me.
